TEAM LOTTONL-JUMBO’S cycling star, George Bennett, shared a sweet moment with a young boy during Spain’s top pro-cycling tour. After a small child appeared on the side of the road encouraging Bennett, the rider gave the little boy a moment he will never forget. Clearly moved by the young boy’s passion during a difficult stage of the race, the Kiwi gestured to the child calling him over while sipping from his water bottle. When the young fan came closer, the rider gifted him his water bottle, a souvenir the young boy will surely cherish forever. While Brit Simon Yates came away with overall victory in La Vuelta a España, it was New Zealand rider George Bennett that stole the hearts of the people after his kind gesture went viral and circulated social media.
