GORED: Bullfighter Saul Jimenez Fortes on the opening day of an autumn festival in Madrid
MALAGA bullfighter Saul Jimenez Fortes is recovering in hospital after being seriously gored on the opening day of an autumn festival in Madrid. The 28-year-old bullfighter was tossed in the air before being dragged along the floor as his green necktie became entangled around the bull’s horns. The incident happened during the Autumn Fair at the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid. The bull was eventually distracted away from Jimenez Fortes and he was carried from the ring by colleagues to immediate medical attention. Doctors have confirmed the ‘rupture of the right leg’ and that the Malagueño will need surgery in the coming days. In a Tweet last night the bullfighter thanked ‘everyone for their support and God for being by his side.’

It’s not the first serious injury the bullfighter has suffered – the worst being a goring in the neck in 2015.

The bull scores again. Yipee.
Funny – the only time you mention bullfighting is when something goes wrong.
Actually it gets mentioned when it goes RIGHT – when the bull wins.
LOL!
