LEWIS Hamilton has surprised a five-year-old boy, suffering from cancer, by sending a Mercedes-AMG F1 to his home.
Brave Harry Shaw, who sent Hamilton a good luck message before his race, was the “inspiration” behind his Grand Prix win in Spain.
Hamilton also gave the child the trophy that he won in Montmelo.
The F1 pilot wrote on his Instagram that Harry was his inspiration, “I will try to make you proud of me. You are a very strong boy, and I wish that I was as strong as you. I wanted the world to see how strong you are and to ask everyone to give you their best wishes and prayers during this difficult moment. God bless you, your friend, Lewis.”
“Lewis Hamilton has given us a great moment and a great smile at a tremendously difficult time in our lives, and my son still cannot believe that Lewis Hamilton spoke about him and dedicated his race to him”, highlighted Harry’s father.
“Harry now thinks that Lewis Hamilton is his best friend, which for a five-year-old is something incredible,” the boy’s father said.
