Three men attacked with knife in the early hours in Burgos

Emergency services received a call at 4:38am this morning (June 17) reporting that a 22-year-old man had been injured in a knife attack in the cities Plaza del Huerta del Rey.

Minutes later a second report was recorded of a similar attack a few streets away at the Calle de Hospital de los Ciegos.

The men were taken by 112 ambulance to Burgos Welfare Complex for treatment with reported wounds to the neck and abdomen.

Half an hour later, a third victim was attacked at the Plaza de Espana with wounds to his leg.

An investigation is underway to determine the identity of the attacker.
