Confirmed 9th August

IN a press release, the promoter of the upcoming Jacksons Concert, Heatwave Promotions, has confirmed that the concert is going ahead on August 9 at the Eras de la Sal venue in Torrevieja, as planned. There were rumours, reported elsewhere, that the concert would have to be cancelled after a dispute with the local Authority over permission for the concert. In fact, the promoter assures us that even if the concert did not go ahead at that venue, then he had another venue, nearby, that he could have used and that it was never his intention to cancel the concert. The decision to deny the promoter permission for the concert was taken by a councillor in the previous administration and that decision has recently been overturned on appeal. Full permission for the concert to be held at the original venue has now been granted. The concert will feature the fantastic Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Jermaine Jackson live in concert as part of their 50th-anniversary tour.
