A 20 YEAR legal battle regarding a paternity suit against the Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has reached a Valencia court, and today a Judge ruled that he considered the claimant to be the singer’s son.
According to reports, he ruled that Javier Sánchez Santos, aged 43 years, is the son of Iglesias, who did not appear in court.
The Judge took into account that Sanchez was born just nine months after Maria Edite, Santos’ mother, and Iglesias had a relationship, the physical resemblance to the singer and the alleged father’s refusal to undergo DNA tests .
The determination of this matter is not final and can be appealed before the Provincial Court of Valencia.
