THE Council of Murcia has revealed that the percentage of people who are unemployed has gone down by almost two per cent and the number of people who are gainfully employed has risen by 19,200 since the last quarter of last year.
The study was conducted by the Encuesta de la Poblacion Activa (EPA) and was based on telephone surveys and face-to-face interviews taking into account all the autonomous communities as individuals and as a whole.
It revealed that although the whole of Spain is better employed this year than 2018, Murcia stood out as the region that appears to be creating the most new jobs.
