THE councillor of Tourism of the town of Velez-Malaga, Jesus Perez Atencia hosted a presentation this morning to announce that the regions capital will travel to Paris to take part in the 2019 IFTM International French Travel Market
The exhibition will be held at the Expo Porte de Versailles on October 1-4 and is one of the leading travel and tourism trade shows in France. It is the key trade event and includes all the players in the travel sector – from tour operators and travel agencies to coach operators, airlines, event agencies.
Jesus Perez Atencia explained “The work on tourism that we have developed in recent years must maintain a level in terms of promotion and dissemination of what is Velez-Malaga as a tourism sector, maintaining the excellent level as part of the whole of the Costa del Sol,”
With their presence at the expo, the local council of Velez Malaga is pushing out all the stops in the attraction of tourists to the area, thus cementing tourism one of its largest grossing sectors to the local economy.
