A MOTION to praise the Marbella and San Pedro Fire Department has been passed by the council in recognition of the amount of hard work and potential risk involved in battling the various fires that broke out around the city this summer.

In addition, all of those other bodies who were also involved, including Local and National Police as well as Guardia Civil, Infoca, the Provincial Consortium, and Civil Protection volunteers were also thanked for all that they had done in order to reduce the risk to people and their homes as the fires raged
