Solgruppen's 25 years anniversary in Albir

A 25-year stay
SOLGRUPPEN, the Norwegian tour operator has now been in Alfaz for 25 years.
To celebrate the anniversary, the company organised paella lunch in Albir’s Eucalpytus park that was attended by 200 tourists currently staying in the town.
The tour operator, which is based in Trondheim, organises short and long-stay holidays, principally for the over-60s from north European countries.
It also has an Albir office, which Anita Bekken opened in 1994, and has a staff of seven.
Residents and Associations councillor Martine Mertens took the opportunity of thanking Anita Bekken and her team for Solgruppen’s 25 years in the municipality which they are celebrating with a series of events throughout this week.
Solgruppen brings around 3,000 tourists to Albir and Alfaz each year, organising charity events throughout the year to raise money for local social projects, particularly the local Food Bank coordinated by the Social Volunteers Association.
