BALERMA-born Encarnacion Escobar Fernandez, celebrated her 101st birthday this week. To mark such an important occasion El Ejido local authority and the Balerma council presented Encarnacion with a commemorative plaque reading ‘The marvellous experience of reaching 101. With Balerma in your heart’.
