Eamonn Holmes is told to ‘get the f*** out of here ‘ by Stormzy after This Morning host called Meghan Markle ‘uppity’ as racism row escalates

Stormzy came to the defence today of Meghan Markle after telling Eamonn Holmes to ‘get the f*** out of here’ after This Morning host called her ‘uppity’

There has been a lot of criticism of Megan, with some pundits saying media coverage of Meghan has been racist. Stormzy speaking to radio station Hot 97 said:’ This whole royal family thing, I had no idea it was so deep. I’m not super into the royal family… I look at it and I think, Meghan, she’s a sweet girl, she’s a sweet woman, she’s a lovely woman. 

‘She does her thing, I ain’t heard her say nothing crazy, and they just hate her.’ 

The comments previously made by This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, who has called her a ‘uppity and then in a further tirade ‘manipulative’, ‘awful’ and ‘spoilt’, were referenced by Stormzy and responded ‘ Bro, she’s black, that’s who you’re talking about. I just look at her and I think she’s got that arrogance. I’m like, nah, she’s black man. Just get the f*** out of here.’ 

He went on to say: ‘If I told you someone write a list as to why you hate Meghan Markle. the list is rubbish. There’s nothing credible to it but there’s an obsession with the Royal Family.’ 

Stormzy has spoken out about racism in the UK on multiple occasions and also suggested that if he was ever honoured an MBE or OBE he would find it uncomfortable because of Britain’s ‘dark’ colonial legacy.
