A couple of days ago we only knew of two confirmed coronavirus cases in Spain, but within the last 24 hours, seven more cases have been added to the list, as the disease is spreading in Spain, both on the islands and on the mainland.
To the cases already known in Tenerife and Barcelona, more cases have now been reported in the Canary Islands, Madrid and Castellón. All of them can be related to recent trips to Italy.
In Tenerife, a total of four people have now been infected. These four are all visitors at the hotel H10 Costa Adeje Palace in southern Tenerife, the very same hotel that put its 1000 visitors in quarantine yesterday when an Italian doctor on vacation got sick. Apart from the doctor, his wife and two other Italians staying at the said hotel have now tested positive for the killer virus.
