Costa Almeria council provides disinfectant gel for local businesses to help prevent coronavirus contagion

PULPI council is just one of the Costa Almeria councils to announce restrictions or prohibitions on all kinds of cultural and sporting activities to try and help prevent coronavirus from spreading around the province. But the local authority has also gone one step further.
The local authority announced on its Facebook page that it is making disinfectant get available to all businesses with deal directly with the public “to help miminise the risks of contagion.”
In the same post the council reported the decision had been taken to suspend all upcoming events which would mean a large gathering of people.
These include the annual gathering of senior citizens in San Juan de los Terreros for the celebration of the ‘Dia de la Vieja’ (Old Lady Day), next Thursday March 19 and the presentation of the book by Pulpi poet Jose Haro, originally scheduled for today Friday March 13.
