Here are a couple of quick tips on how household ingredients can keep your face looking spa perfect.

Why not try a cooling cucumber and yoghurt face mask?

The combination of cucumber and yoghurt has a soothing effect on skin. The natural ingredients in cucumber smooth, soften, moisturise and reduce puffiness, while yoghurt is refreshing for tired skin.


You will need half a cucumber, grated and three tablespoons of plain natural yoghurt

Mix ingredients into a paste and apply to face and neck and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash it off using cool water. You can use this mask at least three times a week.

Here is a quick fix for puffy eyes.

Self-isolation and social distancing and can definitely take its toll on your stress levels, and stress tends to manifest in many different ways, one of which is puffiness around the eyes. To soothe the skin under the eyes, parsley is a useful ingredient. The herb has active properties that can banish dark circles and reduce puffiness.


Chopped parsley and distilled water

Fill an ice-cube tray with distilled water and add a pinch of parsley to each cube before popping in the freezer. Rub the frozen cubes gently under the eyes to get rid of under-eye bags and fine lines.
