The number of coronavirus cases climb in Costa Blanca as some towns are registering their most in the last four days. ALICANTE, Elche, Benidorm and Torrevieja have confirmed that they have registered their most positive Covid-19 cases in the last four days. The Valencian Community is struggling to keep contagion numbers under control despite new restrictions being put in place, with seven out of the ten towns registering the newest cases belonging to the province of Alicante. Alicante has recorded 144 new cases, Elche had 85 new cases, Benidorm registered 40, Orihuela saw 29 new positive tests and Torrevieja saw 27 new cases.
