THE coronavirus pandemic continues to punish Malaga. Today, Wednesday, October 21, see’s seven fatalities, twenty more hospitalised and a total number of infected in the province of almost 20,000 people since the health crisis began.
The worst figure is that there are seven more fatalities from the virus, which brings the accumulated number of deaths since mid-March to 457. It is, in absolute terms, the second-highest figure in Andalucia after Seville, which registers a total of 462 deaths with Covid 19.
Another worrying number is the hospitalizations, currently, there are 191 patients admitted to Malaga hospitals; 19 more than yesterday, October 20. Of those patients admitted, 27 are in Intensive Care.
