Marbella Now will be with you throughout the festive period, airing weekdays at 2pm and 9pm on RTV Marbella. You can watch via TDT on the television, streaming from rtvmarbella.tv/tv-en-directo or on catch-up and via Facebook.
A lot of love goes into making the programme and it means a lot to our community to share messages with one another. Thank you for taking the time to watch, like and share. You may be helping someone more than you know; maybe even something unexpectedly interesting for you too!
On Monday 14th December I was pleased to welcome back racing driver and financial adviser Jeremy Ferguson of The Spectrum IFA Group.
Jeremy heads up the business networking aspect of our United Nationalities of Marbella group, specifically seeking businesses willing to showcase and offer internships to help encourage our local youth to stay and work in our city.
A reminder to please buy local & support Dine & Donate & Zero Hero incentives and a fabulous video by the 9 year students of the English International College to raise money and awareness for the Red Cross. The song was written and is performed by the kids themselves! These last 2 spots will be aired daily for obvious reasons!
For Tuesday 15th we meet Pippa Gomis-Maile who is a Relocation expert, who I met thanks to Jeremy Ferguson. Although we’d coincided at Jeremy’s business luncheons it was the first time we actually had a chance to chat; which was well worthwhile.
A special treat for Wednesday 16th with a trip to chat with Lara González, one of the owners of the new Soho Market which opened last week in the Guadalmina Shopping Centre. To say I was impressed would still be an understatement.
On Thursday 17th author Garry Waite joins me at RTV Marbella studios. He’s written several books, one “The Warm Warm” about crime on the Costa and the other an autobiography “Half my Life”.
We finish off the week on Friday 18th with another local author: Tony Bryant. Tony lives between the provinces of Malaga and Sevilla and has developed s passion for Andalucia and the culture as well as a knack to make it all appealing to others, whether it is about Flamenco, Gypsies or one of the cities he has come to love.
Business really need our support right now; please put our Zero Hero Partners who offer free soft drinks for the designated drivers on the top of your list. Open ZeroHero partners include several Irish pubs such as The Hogan Stand in San Pedro and The Claddagh and McNulty’s in central Marbella.
Also The Harbour Restaurant and La Red beach bar and Casa Tua in Marbella town. In the Golden Mile Art Caffé and El Gaucho de Banus. G Wine in San Pedro and Out of Bounds in Aloha, OWL in the New Golden Mile, Everest Fusion in Diana Centre and Indian Spice in Benahavis. Full listing in www.zerohero.es #BetterTogether
