FAMILIES renting in Almeria City pay, on average, 37 per cent of their earnings on renting a home. According to online property company Idealista, this is the highest in Spain, apart from Tenerife. Not only are Almeria salaries amongst the lowest in Spain, the experts explained, but rents nationwide have gone up in recent years, accounting for the disproportionate outlay.
