Out and about again

U3A MARINA BAIXA members enjoy a Wine and Dine event organised each month by Social Events co-ordinator Hazel Layt.
She also arranges a meal after each monthly General Meeting.
After such a long time of Covid restrictions it is so important to be able to go out to meet up with friends, particularly for members living alone and away from their families, said the U3A Marina Baixa’s secretary Joan Flint.
U3A Marina Baixa continues to arrange events and group activities for members which include Petanca at the Scandinavia Park in Alfaz at 6 pm on Thursdays. Fifty members recently went on a day trip to a Bodega near Valencia and information will shortly be published on forthcoming trips currently being arranged for July and September.
The U3A Marina Baixa meets at the Casa de Cultura in Alfaz del Pi at 11am on the fourth Monday of every month except in August and December.
