“Personality on the front”

Valeriya Beler Nedorubova has been living and working in Calpe since the early 2000s, when she founded her real estate agency, Inmocorbeta.

She has lived across the world with her German husband, moving across Germany to the United States but it was Spain which truly became their home. The Inmocorbeta office projects amongst others, personalised with vibrant paintings, plants and family relics.

“The office is my home,” shared Valeriya: “It is a place which is entirely ours; a place which my clients know will always be here.”  When Valeriya and her husband opened the agency, they worked mainly with Russian clients, who at the time, covered a large part of the Coast´s visitors.

“I remember people literally lining up before the office and it was all through word of mouth. Trust and quality are essential.” Valeriya admitted that the past few years have been challenging, not only due to the COVID-19 crisis but also because of technological developments: “The internet damaged the real estate market in the way that agents became faceless, cutting off the human connection with their clients.”

For Valeriya, a personal approach is the key: “You have to put your personality on the front. A real estate agent is everything at once; a teacher, a tourist guide, a psychologist, a seller…You´ve got to have the energy and intuition to want to get to know your clients well.”

Valeriya learnt the art of presentation when she entered the profession in the former Soviet Union, working as a broker in apartment swaps, and spending years working for Gazprom.

She admits that if it wasn´t for her genes and character, she would never be able to assist and understand people with such efficiency.

“My grandfather, Konstantin Nedorubov, was a famous Cossack war hero awarded with 4 St. George’s Crosses and honoured in my home country back till this day. Everyone tells me that I have his character; the inner fire, passion and strength.”

With this passion, Valeriya continues to provide top-quality service to her clients, supplying property which becomes a home and a key to cherished, life-lasting memories.
