The Salón Varietés Theatre in Fuengirola is gearing up for an exciting lineup of live music events this winter, bringing soulful rhythms, powerhouse tributes, and cinematic magic to the stage. The popular English-speaking venue, located in the town centre, continues to delight audiences with its mix of high-energy performances and nostalgic favourites.
Johnny G. is signed, sealed and delivered in January
Kicking off the series is the return of showman Johnny G. with his spectacular production Signed, Sealed, Delivered. This show celebrates the best of Soul and Motown from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, featuring Johnny G.’s dynamic stage presence alongside his gorgeous backing singers and dancers. Special guests Dannielle Gale and Laura Carter will light up the stage with stunning tributes to legends including Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Diana Ross, and more. Expect an unforgettable evening of classic hits and electrifying energy.
Performances: Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17 at 7:30 pm.
Tribute to Adele
Just after Valentine’s Day, Laura Carter returns for a special one-night-only event. Fresh from her guest appearance in the Johnny G. show, she takes centre stage with her superb tribute to Adele, delivering all the favourite hits from the Great British diva. Backed by a brilliant live band, this romantic post-Valentine’s celebration promises to set the theatre alight with powerful vocals and emotional depth.
Performance: Sunday, February 15, at 7 pm.
Magic of the Movies
Closing out the February highlights, multi-talented international performer Cristina Ryan returns by popular demand with The Magic of the Movies. This unique homage showcases the most iconic, soul-stirring movie themes and soundtracks, combining violin mastery with captivating vocals. From the dramatic strains of The Godfather and thrilling James Bond melodies to enchanting Disney classics, Cristina presents a delicious menu of familiar favourites designed to transport audiences of all ages through the magic of cinema. It’s a nostalgic musical journey that captures the very essence of what makes movies unforgettable.
Performances: Friday, February 20, and Saturday, February 21, at 7.30pm.
