Fans can officially start planning ahead, as the iconic San Diego Comic-Con Malaga 2026 has confirmed its return from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4 at FYCMA, Malaga. Now, in its second European edition, the convention will be bigger and bolder than ever, attracting even more international interest.

For mega enthusiasts who attended the 2025 edition, the big date in the diary is the first opportunity to buy tickets. An exclusive pre-sale opening on Thursday, April 23 at 10am is reserved for those who previously enjoyed the Comic-Con last year. Eligible returning attendees can purchase up to two tickets using their original Registration ID and a Ticketmaster account, both linked to the same email address. Organisers stress that pre-sale access does not guarantee a ticket, as availability will be limited.

Newcomers to the event should create an ID to be ready to go for general sale opens

New fans who did not attend in 2025 are encouraged to create a 2026 Registration ID through the official San Diego Comic-Con Malaga website as soon as possible so they are ready when the general sale opens, a date which has yet to be announced.

Following strong demand from the first edition, organisers have announced major expansion plans. The venue will gain a new pavilion of over 9,000 m² within the Exhibitor Hall, a larger Artists’ Alley, expanded gaming areas, and a new auditorium for larger panels and presentations, nearly doubling the overall event space.

The four-day event is full to the brim with things to do, see and experience

Visitors can look forward to a full packed four-day Comic-Con programme, with celebrity guests, film and TV panels, comic-creator signings, cosplay contests, gaming areas, exclusive merchandise, and hands-on fan experiences throughout, anything and everything you desire as a fan. As the first official San Diego Comic-Con event to expand beyond the United States, Comic-Con Malaga is an exciting time for pop-culture and those who enjoy being immersed in another world.

Ticket Prices

  • Adult day ticket: €84.80 (including booking fees)
  • Children’s ticket (ages 0–12): €37.10
  • Multi-day passes may also be available, subject to availability

All tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster as the event’s official ticketing partner, though some authorised partners may offer tickets through their own channels. Anyone unsure about a ticket’s validity is advised to contact the organisers directly for verification. Every attendee requires their own Registration ID, with the exception of children aged 12 and under at the time of the event. Full details of all the above and extra information about what else the 4 days has to offer visit the Comic-Con website.

Mark the dates in your diary to not miss this ‘Icomic’ event.
