Algorfa is preparing to host its most ambitious April Fair yet, with a packed programme of events running from morning until the early hours. This year boasts an expanded schedule, promising activities from the early morning hours until late into the evenings, across multiple stages.

Closing out April and ringing in May in idyllic Algorfa

Festivities will begin on Thursday, April 30, with the official opening, followed by flamenco performances and a live concert. Traditional flamenco performances have already proven a success in the municipality, which saw strong attendance at recent shows.

One of the standout attractions will be José Perea’s flamenco fashion show on May 1, where the talented designer will create a dress live on stage. Meanwhile, afternoon traditional bull events, including the release of young bulls and a bull-leaping competition, will take place on Friday and Saturday, alongside a Sunday equestrian display.

Alongside the main programme, organisers have also introduced a wider range of cultural and leisure attractions designed to appeal to all ages. These include artisan stalls, expanded fairground rides, and evening DJ sets to extend the atmosphere into the night. Local businesses are also expected to benefit from increased visitor numbers, with the fair providing a significant boost to tourism and hospitality across the municipality throughout the long weekend.

Music will also take centre stage during the April Fair, with performances from local acts and tribute bands throughout the weekend. The fair will conclude on Sunday with the traditional Rocío Mass, alongside family-friendly activities, expanded food areas, and entertainment for children. With this event, Algorfa consolidates its April Fair as one of the most vibrant on the Costa Blanca.
