More than 1,000 runners, walkers and supporters filled the streets of Benidorm for a charity event that combined sport, community spirit and fundraising for people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known in Spain as ELA. The second edition of the Firefighters’ 5K Solidarity Race attracted participants from across the Valencian Community and beyond, making it one of the largest community sporting events of the year in the resort.
