The popular Amata Designer Craft Fair, or Feria de Artesanía de Autor, has officially returned to the seafront promenade of the Port of Javea, bringing a vibrant celebration of authentic, handmade artistry to the local coastline. Running daily from late June until the end of August, this lively summer market will set up at the end of Jaime I Avenue each afternoon, opening its doors from 7:30pm until midnight and offers residents and visitors a chance to stroll in this idyllic location and take home some beautiful handmade treasures from the Costa Blanca.
A decade of authentic artisan traditions
This fair, which has been a steady part of the Javea summer calendar since 2013, has earned a reputation for its quality and the beauty of the items being sold. Every stall will feature a genuine artisan selling their own, one-of-a-kind handmade creations. This commitment to artisanal goods sets it apart from other markets, and it is consistently a major draw for locals and visitors alike.
Live demonstrations and unique treasures, all on Javea’s beautiful seafront
While browsing the stalls, visitors will discover a range of high-quality goods, including intricate jewelry, macramé pieces, and home décor. There will even be live demonstrations available for the entertainment aspect of the fair, including a wood burning show.
The fair will be highly accessible, with a dedicated stop on the local tourist train that loops hourly between Arenal Beach and the historic town centre.
The perfect summer evening by the sea: When to enjoy Javea’s crafts fair
Combining a fascinating market, a beautiful location, and friendly and talented artisans, this fair will make for a perfect summer evening out on the promenade of Javea. While watching the fishing boats, strolling past the fish market, or enjoying the breeze at a bar, restaurant, or terrace, visitors can also stock up on beautiful items made by authentic Javea artists.
Running daily from the end of June until August 30, residents and visitors in Javea should not miss out on the chance to enjoy a tranquil evening by the sea and stroll around the stalls of genuine handmade treasures.
