San Pedro Alcantara to host The Burger Cup for one week

San Pedro is getting ready for the meat and cheese to welcome The Burger Cup from Monday, August 3 to Sunday, August 9 2026. A week-long burger competition on the town’s Boulevard with free admission for visitors.

This meaty event will run every evening and describes San Pedro Alcantara as a highlighted stop for this edition of the 2026 Burger Cup. According to the official announcement, visitors will be able to sample burgers from competing food trucks before casting a public vote for their favourite. Festival organisers say the event aims to bring together some of Spain’s best burgers, giving residents and holidaymakers the opportunity to decide the winning entry.

Food trucks, live music and public voting

Food trucks serving delicious gourmet burgers will be served over the seven-day programme, accompanied by entertainment including live music and continuous activities during opening hours, organisers are aiming for a festival atmosphere for families and groups of friends.
Public voting gives a competitive edge to the event allowing customers to score the burgers they try before an overall favourite is chosen. Admission is free throughout the event.

Opening times confirmed

Organisers have confirmed the following opening hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7pm to midnight
Friday to Sunday: 7pm to 1am

Boulevard San Pedro hosts many outdoor events in the Marbella area, making it a familiar location for large public gatherings during the summer.

Just Eat promotion announced

A promotional offer has also been announced through Just Eat Spain. Visitors can claim a €5 discount on their first order through the platform. Other partners of the event include Just Eat, Coca-Cola, Amstel, VivaTicket, Marbella Town Hall and San Pedro Alcantara.

Although dates, location and opening hours have now been confirmed, organisers have yet to publish the full list of competing burger vendors or the entertainment schedule. Details still expected before the festival begins include participating restaurants, menus, daily music performances and any awards that will be presented following the public vote.
