Benferri fiestas head into final weekend with parades, live music and fireworks

Benferri is heading into the final days of its 2026 fiestas, with a weekend of parades, live music, religious celebrations and fireworks still to come.

Residents and visitors have several major events to look forward to before this year’s celebrations officially come to an end on Monday, August 17.

The final weekend combines some of the most colourful and entertaining events of the programme with the religious traditions at the heart of the annual fiestas.

Colourful Parade takes over Benferri

Saturday, August 15, brings one of the biggest events of the programme, the Colourful Parade, which starts at 8:00 PM from Calle Jose Maria Puchaes.

The parade will make its way through the town before finishing in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, bringing residents and visitors together for one of the liveliest events of the celebrations.

The entertainment will continue into the night, with a live concert by Salitre beginning at midnight.

After the concert, DJ Alonso will keep the celebrations going at the penas enclosure, giving fiesta-goers the chance to continue enjoying the night.

San Jeronimo and Virgen del Rosario celebrations

Sunday, August 16, will focus on celebrations in honour of San Jeronimo and the Virgen del Rosario.

The Santo Rosario begins at 7:15 PM, followed by the collection of the Fiesta Queens and standard bearers at 7:30 PM.

At 8:00 PM, a special Mass and procession in honour of the town’s patron saints will take place, forming one of the main traditional events of the fiestas.

A large fireworks display will also be held during the evening, adding another highlight to the final weekend of celebrations.

Later, the atmosphere will return to live entertainment, with Top Music performing in Plaza del Ayuntamiento from 11:00 PM.

Benferri fiestas conclude on Monday

After a packed weekend, the 2026 fiestas will officially conclude on Monday, August 17, with a more reflective final event.

Mass and the Rosary in memory of those who have died will begin at 7:45 PM, bringing this year’s programme to a close.

With a colourful parade, concerts, a DJ, religious celebrations, a procession and fireworks still ahead, Benferri has plenty planned for residents and visitors before another year of its traditional fiestas comes to an end.
