A four-day drive across Spain ended in a spectacular Madrid gala last weekend, and the number on the final cheque gave everyone involved something to celebrate.
Convoy with a cause
Casino de Madrid hosted the closing gala of the Cash & Rocket Spain Tour 2026 on September 14, bringing fifty women and twenty-five red cars together in support of Global Gift Foundation. Actress and activist Eva Longoria, Global Gift founder Maria Bravo, Cash & Rocket founder Julie Brangstrup and soprano Angelica de la Riva led the evening, celebrating the end of a route that had set off from Marbella on September 10 and passed through Seville, Trujillo and Toledo on its way to the capital.
A winning team and a record haul
Elena Knezek and Jessica Davenport finished as the top fundraisers of the tour, bringing in an incredible £21,071.34 between them over the four days. Combined with everyone else’s efforts, the event pulled in a magnificent €130,951 for Global Gift Foundation, a figure showing how much can be achieved when participants throw themselves fully behind a shared cause.
Eva Longoria highlighted the power of women coming together to drive real change: “These four days have shown what we can achieve when we unite our voices, our energy and our commitment to a common cause. Every woman who has been part of this tour has helped turn solidarity into a force capable of transforming lives.”
Brangstrup, who founded Cash & Rocket, said people’s generosity had left a lasting impression on her.
An evening of performances and star power
Nieves Alvarez and Nick Ede presented the gala, with singer Carlos Baute and soprano Angelica de la Riva providing live music through the night. Christie’s International Director Beatriz Ordovas ran a charity auction that included artworks donated by Jaime Monge and Sol Felpeto. Princess Beatrice of Orleans, designer Vicky Martin Berrocal, model Jodie Kidd and singer Conchita were among the stars who turned up to back the event.

What the money will fund
Cash & Rocket has run these tours since 2012, and every euro raised on this occasion goes straight to Global Gift Foundation. Donations will support projects including Casa Angeles, a Marbella day centre for children and young people with special needs, and the Casa Angeles Quang Chau orphanage in Vietnam, which Maria Bravo has backed since 2018.
