Do you have tickets for Comic Con in Malaga this year? Are you thinking of getting a snap with one of your famous stars if cinema, TV series or the world of comics? Well, make sure there is some credit on your card before you go.

A snap with Elijah Wood is the dearest solo photo on sale at San Diego Comic-Con Malaga, and a group shot with the movie Starship Troopers cast costs even more. Prices for the Meet the Artist queue went live on 24 September, and fans already inside FYCMA this weekend are paying them on top of the day ticket.

Day tickets for the 1 to 4 October run sit at €84.80 once booking fees are in. Photos and autographs are a separate purchase through the Portal del Fan, with a cap of two signings per person on the first sale. Organisers have said the money from those sessions goes to the guests, not the convention. Last year’s debut drew complaints about queues and add-on costs, and Euro Weekly News reported the 2026 return was sold as a bigger, better-run edition.

What Frodo and Sam cost

Elijah Wood, Frodo in The Lord of the Rings, is priced at €125 for a photo and the same again for an autograph. Sean Astin, Samwise, is €100 for either. A joint portrait of the two is €225, the priciest Lord of the Rings option and one of the main draws of the Sunday close. John Rhys-Davies, Gimli, is listed at €80 for a selfie, or €120 if fans want the selfie and a signature, cash only. EWN confirmed both hobbits for the Malaga bill back in May.

Group shots push the bill higher still. A photo with the Starship Troopers reunion (Casper Van Dien, Denise Richards, Dina Meyer, Jake Busey and Michael Ironside) is €300, the top figure reported for this year’s Meet the Artist list. Denise Richards on her own is €60. Jake Busey and Casper Van Dien are also €60 for a photo or a signature.

The Boys, Clerks and One Piece

Karl Urban, Billy Butcher in The Boys and Eomer in Lord of the Rings, is €95 for a photo or an autograph. Aya Cash, Stormfront, is €65. Posing with both is €160. Urban’s Thursday session was one of the busiest of the opening day, according to local coverage from the floor.

Kevin Smith, Jason Lee and Jason Mewes (the Mallrats and Clerks crowd) are €65 each. A photo of all three is €195. One Piece actors Iñaki Godoy, Taz Skylar and Peter Gadiot match that group rate at €195, with a solo shot of Godoy at €65. Kristian Nairn, Hodor in Game of Thrones, is also €65, with a long signing window. Mira Sorvino, Oscar winner for Mighty Aphrodite, sits in the same €65 band. Richard Dean Anderson, still MacGyver to a lot of the Costa del Sol crowd, is €60. Denise Gough, Dedra Meero in Andor, is the cheapest named photo at €50.

Free signings, if you miss the paid queue

Some guests are not charging. John Romita Jr. is signing the official poster he drew for this edition, free, at the FYCMA shop. Mingjue Helen Chen, Yoichi Takahashi, Akira Yamaoka and Mike Pondsmith are also on the free-signing list. Writers Javier Castillo and Juan Gomez-Jurado have been signing books without a fee.

Advance photo passes sold from 11am on 24 September and several of the bigger names shifted quickly. Anyone who missed that window can still try walk-up slots if any are left on the day.
