Motorcycle enthusiasts and local residents are invited to come together in Mazarron for a charity ride, live music and an afternoon of fundraising as the Costa Calida Cruisers Motorcycle Club celebrates the tenth edition of its Memorial Run. The event will take place on Sunday, November 1, at The Buena Vista in Puerto de Mazarron, with proceeds going to the local charity Making a Difference. Entry is free, and organisers welcome everyone, whether they ride a motorcycle or simply want to support the cause.
Motorcycle club celebrates tenth Memorial Run: More than 80 bikes to set off on charity ride
The day will begin at 11:00am, with the charity ride-out kicking off the celebration with a roar. More than 80 motorcycles will take part in the annual route, travelling through the wider Mazarron area, across the surrounding mountains and through its surrounding villages before returning to the venue.
Live music and raffle support local good cause
The Memorial Run is held in memory of friends and neighbours who have passed away, particularly those who helped establish the club. Now marking its tenth edition, the gathering combines remembrance with the club’s longstanding commitment to supporting good causes in the local community. After the ride, visitors can enjoy an afternoon of food, drinks and live entertainment, with music provided by Badlands. A grand charity raffle will also give attendees another opportunity to contribute to the fundraising effort.
Making a Difference helps vulnerable people locally
Over previous years, the event has raised almost €1,000 for charity, demonstrating how the local motorcycling community has turned its shared passion into practical support for others. The chosen beneficiary, Making a Difference, supports people in need in the local community regardless of their background. The charity has helped a range of local initiatives, including organisations caring for children with disabilities and the development of an accessible garden at a social centre.
The Costa Calida Cruisers Motorcycle Club was established in 2016 and has built a reputation for supporting local charitable causes alongside its regular motorcycle outings. With its combination of impressive bikes, entertainment and fundraising, the Memorial Run will give residents and visitors a chance to enjoy a lively community event and experience the thrill of a motorcycle parade, all while contributing to a worthwhile cause.
