Jacqueline’s Charity Shop marks two years
Two years after opening her first charity shop in Sax, cancer survivor Jacqueline Dale is marking the anniversary with a fundraising celebration and another milestone to toast.
Jacqueline’s Charity Shop will hold its second birthday party at Restaurante Meson El Almendros on Wednesday, November 4, with all profits going to cancer support associations.
Jacqueline launched the charity after her own battle with anaplastic lymphoma, determined to help others facing cancer and the difficulties that come with it.
Since then, the shop has attracted a growing community of customers, donors and volunteers.
Second charity shop opens in Sax
The organisation recently expanded with the opening of a second premises.
The new shop, at Calle Reyes Catolicos 9, specialises in furniture and joins the original charity shop at Calle Hermanos Pinzon 10.
The expansion provides another milestone to celebrate during the anniversary evening, two years after Jacqueline first launched the project.
Both shops are also selling tickets for the birthday celebration.
Birthday celebration raises money for cancer support
The anniversary celebrations begin at 7:30 PM, and tickets cost €25, including a hot buffet.
DJ Barry will provide the music, and there will also be a raffle to add to the fundraising total.
It promises to be a chance to thank those who have supported Jacqueline over the past two years while raising more money for people affected by cancer.
All profits from the anniversary event will go towards cancer support associations.
Tickets available from both Sax shops
Tickets are available from both Jacqueline’s Charity Shops in Sax.
