Nothing beats a hot drink and a fresh slice of cake on a beautiful autumn morning, especially when every single sweet mouthful helps give a vulnerable rescue dog a second chance. Animal lovers along the coast are gathering for a brilliant cause as ADANA hosts its final coffee morning of the year.
Treat your sweet tooth at Sabinillas beachfront coffee morning
Supporters can head down to Frankie’s Grill, situated right on the beautiful seafront promenade in San Luis de Sabinillas. On Friday, November 6 from 11am until 1pm, this informal catch up morning will be packed with hospitality, home baking, and community spirit.
Charity volunteers will serve an impressive array of sweet treats, with anything from icing topped sponge cakes to chocolate brownies and cupcakes. Guests can relax with hot tea or coffee and have a good natter.
How every slice of cake changes lives for shelter animals
Proceeds raised during the event assist with feeding costs, veterinary bills, and shelter upkeep for animals in need. Operating out of nearby Estepona, ADANA (Association for the Rights of Abandoned Animals) maintains a strict non-euthanasia policy for healthy dogs, providing care until safe forever homes are found.
Running an animal sanctuary requires constant funding for everyday essentials such as vaccinations, medical treatments, nutritious food, and warm bedding. Purchasing a slice of cake or dropping change into donation boxes directly funds this vital work, keeping furry residents healthy and comfortable.
