Standing ovation for pop diva

MORE than 1,000 people attended the concert which Spain’s pop diva Monica Naranjo offered at Roquetas de Mar Theatre last weekend with her new show ‘Madame Noir’. She received a standing ovation when she sung ‘Nessun Dorma’ from Turandot.

Her new performance is a step away from the type of show which made her famous in the 90s, but her voice remains as powerful as ever.
