TWO Romanian men in their thirties were injured after a third person of the same nationality hit them in the head with an axe in a flat in Valencia.
The three men had argued inside the flat before the attack took place, and one of the victims was able to run outside where he was seen by a group of Valencia fans who had just watched a match at a nearby club headquarters.
The National Police and two ambulances arrived on the scene almost immediately and the attacker, also in his thirties, was taken away in handcuffs. He was not injured.
One of the victims was taken to hospital unconscious with a large head wound from which he had lost a lot of blood. Police searched the flat and found an axe, but they do not believe it to be the one used in the attack.
