A MAN, 45, has been remanded to prison for kidnapping a woman, 32, and keeping her at a secluded hunter refuge for two days in Cuevas del Almanzora.
He allegedly raped her several times while threatening her with a shotgun, Guardia Civil said.
His wife, of the same age, who allegedly collaborated with him, was released with charges.
The victim’s husband reported her missing the day after she had left her home with the male detainee who had engaged her services as a housemaid.
The Sierra de Almagro area, which was well-known to the detainees, was searched by Guardia Civil by land and air until the woman was found.
