GIBRALTAR based, Captain E.S. Geary, author of the award winning book The Venezuelan Conspiracy, fittingly described as “Shipping’s Danger Man” by Fairplay Shipping Magazine, has penned another intriguing page-turner with stories of maritime crime and conspiracy in an international environment.
The novel is based on his personal experiences during an always exciting, but sometimes dangerous career. Fables & Tales of the Unexpected provides the reader with an insight into some of these fascinating cases.
In reward for his previous spying efforts the CIA offered Geary promotion to Flag Rank and generous payments from a slush-fund covertly paid through a numbered bank account in an off-shore jurisdiction.
Refusing to participate in their clandestine activities the Agency embarked on a program of assassination to kill him.
A Deep Throat emerges from the shadows of Washington providing information that leads to exposure of the CIA’s nefarious activities which is subsequently documented through the main stream print media and a CNN television report.
In spite of the U.S. Attorney’s gag order For Reason’s of National Security to shield the CIA and the U.S. Coast Guard from exposure, Geary prevails in his lawsuit against the Government which allowed the story of the CIA’s Venezuelan Conspiracy involving Money, Drugs and Oil to be told.
An independent film producer has expressed interest in producing a weekly television series based on the stories in Fables & Tales of the Unexpected.
