FERAL cats in Terreros, Pulpi, are going to be spayed and neutered thanks to a law which the town hall has brought into effect.
This follows complaints from locals regarding the number of stray cars in the area.
Ten cats have already undergone operations which are hoped to put an end to the problem without hurting the cats.
The procedure is carried out by the San Animal Shelter, including catching the animals, with the help of three volunteers, who take them to the vets and then back to the area where they are found.
