Spanish Afternoon and prize giving at XIC

XABIA INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE recently celebrated Spanish culture at their Secondary site, with a wonderful range of workshops to educate and entertain the students.  From the peeling of the potatoes for the tortilla, to the clicking of castanets, via a game of ‘pilota’, students and staff enjoyed a fantastic afternoon. The highlight was the huge paella, prepared by a few, devoured by all!

The school also celebrated the end of another successful year at the Parador last week.  The Primary End of Year Celebration included a variety of musical presentations and entertainment performed by the children. In the afternoon, the Secondary school Prize-giving celebrated their students’ achievements throughout the year with academic and sporting awards, poetry reading, and music and drama performances.
