THEFT: Some of the stolen articles.
SIX people, including an underage alleged gang leader, have been arrested and charged with at least 60 thefts in Almeria and in the Poniente area. Operating mainly in El Ejido, Vicar and Roquetas de Mar, plus neighbourhood Vega de Acá, the gang allegedly accessed community garages to force storage room doors, mainly targeting motorbikes, bicycles and quads.
Three more people have been charged with sending the stolen goods to Romania in a joint operation in Almeria between Guardia Civil and the National Police. Twenty bicycles, five quad bikes, a car, two mopeds and five motor bikes have been returned to their owners.
