Spring sowing preparation

SPRING will be here before we know it so why not get a head start on the gardening season. There are things you can be done now to get your garden and outdoor space ready for the spring including:

Designing: Plan your flower beds, do research and get inspirations from magazines on how you want your space to look and get inspiration from neighbour’s gardens or communal spaces.

Plan ahead: When planting vegetables, plan ahead and ensure you group similar vegetables together and plant by family to make crop rotation easier.

Indoor seeding: You can start preparing now for your indoor seeding by ensuring all your equipment is out of storage, cleaned and in working order. Start buying seeds as well to beat the crowds so you also have plenty of time to read the instructions and make sure you are sowing them at the correct time.
