The lab was discovered in Almeria city.
National police have discovered and dismantled a cocaine laboratory in Los Molinos, Almeria.
Four people, three men and a woman, aged between 30 and 47, were arrested in the operation resulting in the seizure of 1.5 kilograms of high grade cocaine, 1.2 kilograms of cutting substances, and more than €13,000 in cash.
Investigations began in February, when officers detected large amounts of cocaine being trafficked into Almeria city and the surrounding areas.
The police identified a woman as leading the operation who, despite lack of official employment, still managed to fund a luxury lifestyle as well as owning several top of the range cars, several properties for rent, and be able to send regular payments of money home to Columbia.
The premises were being used as a hub to produce and distribute cocaine around the province. Those arrested are awaiting trial.
