Michael Jackson still a trendsetter

Michael Jackson has this week once again made history as a posthumous music video has been released on Twitter. It is the first time a music video has been debuted only on social media.

The singer who passed away five years ago, recorded the song ‘A Place With No Name’ in 1998 but it is only now that various music producers and particularly Epic Records boss L.A. Reid have gone through his unreleased material. Those who look after the Michael Jackson estate have given all the material to L. A. Reid.

The famous producer said “Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with. We are extremely proud and honoured to present this music to the world.”

Jackson, known as The King of Pop, has set trends for many years. His latest has been a great success with over 300,000 views in a day. His 1.66 million Twitter followers read the message:  ‘It’s time! The first ever premiere of ‘A Place With No Name’ right now on Twitter #MJXSCAPE.’
