FIREFIGHTERS evacuated an El Ejido building after a blaze broke out.
The fire, in a third floor property on El Ejido Boulevard, began at 5am on Saturday March 7. Thankfully there were no casualties, although a five-year-old child was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene and recovered quickly.
The residents were able to return to their homes shortly afterwards, once the firefighters had ventilated the rest of the building.
