Child addictions on the rise

MORE and more children under 12 are reportedly seeking help with alcohol and hashish addictions, Proyecto Hombre association has revealed.

Before a conference in Malaga which 350 people from all over Spain and abroad attended, association president Luis Bononato stated that the figures are worrying, with cases from all walks of life being on the rise.

Although hashish and alcohol are the most common addictions in the under 12s, the association’s centres are also seeing children addicted to mobile phones and video-games, Bononato said.
