Anger and alcohol at 30,000 feet

A PASSENGER on a Glasgow to Alicante flight was arrested upon arrival for drunken behaviour.

The man was part of a group travelling on the Jet2.com flight from Glasgow, believed to be headed to Benidorm for a stag do. He was disturbing other passengers by singing, shouting and running down the aisle of the plane.

The captain continued with the flight and landed safely at Alicante-Elche Airport where Guardia Civil agents were waiting and arrested the man. He was detained in the barracks for a few hours before being allowed to follow his party on to Benidorm.

Jet2.com have banned him from flying with them in the future.
