A NEW seniors’ home, expected to become one of the biggest and most complete ones in Andalucia, is to be constructed in Torre del Mar (Velez-Malaga).Mayor Francisco Delgado Bonilla, together with Urban Works councillor, Concepcion Labao and other council representatives, explained that the new centre would be located next to the current daycare centre, near the town’s retail market.“With this project we would like to meet the residents’ requests, especially in terms of space, expanding a centre that has thousands of users,” said the mayor.Around €1.5 million will be spent on the project, paid for by IMSERSO (the Spanish Social Services and Equality Institute).
