Two years for gang who shot a young man in Almuñecar

THE five men who shot a young man in Almuñecar in February 2009 have been sentenced to two years in prison.
The shooting caused the man to completely lose mobility on the shoulder, as well as have trouble using his hand and elbow.
The five gunmen had originally been accused of attempted murder and the prosecutor’s office had requested 12 years in prison for each of them.
However, the men’s defence lawyers were able to reduce the charges to a crime of causing injury.
