THIS year’s Noche en Blanco in Malaga broke all-time attendance records with more than 217,559 visits to the 183 activities organised for the event.The eighth edition, which was celebrated last Saturday (May 16), took place between 8pm and 2am, featuring a great variety of artistic genres.“It is very exciting and encouraging to see Malaga’s Noche en Blanco becoming one of the most important cultural events on a national level,” said Mayor of the Town, Francisco de la Torre.The theme chosen for this year’s event was, ´Seas and Sailors.´ The activities were distributed in museums and exhibitions, artistic performances, visual arts, literary arts and music performances amongst others.It is estimated that the ‘Calle Larios jellyfish’ (pictured) was seen by at least 25,000 people.The Centre Pompidou Malaga, was visited by almost 3,000, while the Russian Museum’s collection saw almost 2,132 during the night.
