Winning artists named

CARMEN VENEGAS and Vanesa Lara have been announced as winners of Motril’s HelArte art competition for local students.

Almost 2,000 children took part in the competition, organised by Academia D’Arte art school and La Flor de la Canela icecream parlour, Education Councillor Mercedes Sanchez reported.

Although competition was very tough, two winners were finally chosen and will be receiving free lessons at the academy from now until June.
